The CurePSP Awareness and Memorial Walk will take place on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Mackle Park, Marco Island, Florida. This will be the 14th year of the walk.
The walk is a national drawcard that attracts visitors from across the country to raise awareness of neurodegeneration, and support research and programs related to progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) and related prime of life brain diseases.
Sponsored by the Southwest Florida PSP Support Group in support of CurePSP, more than 300 people attend the walk annually, and a record crowd is anticipated for 2017.
The length of the walk is less than one mile around Mackle Park, and is wheelchair and family friendly. Registration begins at 10:30am; $25 for adults and $10 for students, and includes a t-shirt and lunch.
Information on prime of life neurodegeneration will be available, as well as raffles and merchandise. For more information about the CurePSP Memorial and Awareness walk please contact Cindy MacDonald at 239-353-3960, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
