2. Join: At the time of the webinar, click the join link in the confirmation email or your calendar invite. You can join from any Mac or Windows computer.
3. Watch: If you arrive before the organizer, you’ll see a window confirming that you successfully connected. Once the organizer arrives the Webinar will begin.

Braitsch is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy, a former amateur fighter, former kinesiology professor, and an internationally certified fight referee. In addition to treating individual patients, Braitsch runs group exercise programs steeped in leading evidence from physical therapy and exercise science to help people with chronic and progressive conditions move and feel better. Braitsch founded Tribe Wellness, LLC, in 2017 to promote exercise as a way to improve health, fight impairments, and increase the quality of life.

Ask The Scientist: Lukasz Joachimiak
Dr. Joachimiak is an Assistant Professor in the Center for Alzheimer’s and Neurodegenerative Diseases at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he is a Marie Cain Endowed Scholar in Medical Research. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Washington, where he worked with Dr. David Baker to develop computational methods to design protein-protein interactions. He did his postdoc at Stanford University with Dr. Judith Frydman; there, he implemented computational and structural approaches to define architectures and mechanics of large and dynamic complexes. He joined the faculty at UT Southwestern in 2016 as an Effie Marie Cain Endowed Scholar in Medical Research. Dr. Joachimiak’s lab develops computational and structural approaches to probe the conformations of proteins and complexes.
Ask the Scientist: Michelle S. Troche, Ph.D
Dr. Michelle S. Troche is currently an Associate Professor in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Program, Department of Biobehavioral Sciences at Teachers College, Columbia University. She holds adjunct positions in the Departments of Neurology and Otolaryngology. She directs the Laboratory for the Study of Upper Airway Dysfunction. Her research is aimed at developing robust evaluation and treatment techniques for dystussia and dysphagia. Her research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, Michael J. Fox Foundation, and National Ataxia Foundation. In 2016, she was awarded a CurePSP Venture Grant supported by The Jasperson Legacy Fund.
