How Veterans with PSP, CBD, and MSA Can Access VA Benefits

Oct 30, 2025 Courtney Malburg

PSP, CBD, and MSA affect people of all walks of life, including veterans who have served in the U.S. military.

While these conditions bring unique challenges, veterans and their families have access to valuable resources through the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The VA offers specialized programs and benefits designed to support the complex care needs that come with PSP, CBD and MSA. These programs can help address many of the physical, emotional and financial challenges that families face when managing these conditions.

Here are some key programs that may be helpful. To learn more about eligibility and discover additional resources that might be right for your situation, consider speaking with a VA social worker or calling the VA health benefits hotline at (877) 222-8387.
