Barney's Hummingbird Note Card Fundraiser (ongoing)
Barney and Fran Myer are conducting a beautiful note card fundraiser to beneift CurePSP. Barney's story is as follows:Barney was diagnosed with PSP in 2010. For Barney, his double vision and frame by frame, or "stuttered", visual experience means everything he does and sees requires great concentration and effort. Though not an artist by training, he took photos of hummingbirds that visit his patio in Arizona. With help from his wife, Fran, they were transformed into faded black and white, enlarged and printed on art paper. Barney used Prismacolor pencils to enhance the pictures. His artwork captures the joyful spirit of these amazing little birds.
The cost is $10.00 for a set of 6 cards and 6 envelopes, plus $2.00 for shipping and handling. All proceeds from the sale of these note cards will be donated to CurePSP. To order, please send an email request to pickleballstuff@comcast.net.
We are unable to upload photos of the beautiful note cards at this time. When you email Fran at the above address, please ask her to send you sample photos of the cards.
