13-Year-Old Abby Sayre Starts CBD Fundraiser In Memory Of Grandmother Mary Kay

Abby Sayre has started a fundraiser on behalf of her grandmother, Mary Kay Withrow.

Mary Kay was diagnosed with Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD). CBD is a neurodegenerative disease that has no known cause, treatment or cure. It affects nerve cells that control walking, balance, mobility, vision, speech and swallowing.

She required assistance in every area of her life and was no longer able to understand or communicate. But, as she was throughout her life, she was always patient and kind.

On October 30th, 2016, after living with the disease for more than eight years, Mary Kay passed away.

Abby is fundraising this money to donate to CurePSP.
