Ask the Expert: Considerations for Your Nutritional Health with PSP, CBD or MSA (Virtual Webinar)

March 22, 2023 @ 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

While there is no specific diet associated with progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), corticobasal degeneration (CBD) or multiple system atrophy (MSA), there are abundant suggestions and considerations to improve your nutritional health. In this webinar, Kristin Gustashaw, certified specialist in gerontological nutrition of the CurePSP Center of Care at Rush University, will go beyond commercial supplements and discuss key nutrient-dense foods to include in your diet week to week, including the MIND diet. She will also cover strategies to help you stay hydrated, prevent unintentional weight loss, preserve your muscles and combat constipation. Resources for dysphagia (swallowing difficulty) will also be discussed. Gustashaw will use any remaining time to answer questions.

This webinar will be recorded and will be available on our YouTube page following the event. We will email all registrants a link when it’s ready to view.
